A circular economy is the answer to global challenges such as climate change, the resource crisis, and increasing waste. By abandoning the traditional take-use-dispose pattern, a circular economy encourages a more regenerative, efficient, and environmentally friendly system. To support this transformation, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has introduced the ISO 59000 Series as a global guide for implementing a circular economy.
🇮🇩 In Indonesia, the National Standardization Agency (BSN) plays an active role in encouraging the adoption of this standard through education and training. Through this program, businesses, the government, and various sectors can strengthen their understanding and technical skills in integrating circular economy principles according to international standards. Now is the time to make a real contribution to sustainable development, the energy transition, and a green future for Indonesia.
This training is more than just a circular economy training. Held with the full support of the National Standardization Agency (BSN) and experts from the international ISO technical committee, this activity is designed to be the most comprehensive and strategic learning platform in Indonesia for implementing a circular economy based on the ISO 59000 Series. Some of the key advantages of this training:
This training directly references ISO 59004, ISO 59010, and ISO 59020, the latest international standards and the first to systematically regulate the implementation of a circular economy—making it more concrete and measurable than the general, conceptual approach.
Participants will gain direct insight from BSN regarding national policy direction and harmonization with SNI, as well as from ISO/TC 323 experts involved in standard development—a rare opportunity rarely available in similar training programs.
Unlike general training, which is theoretical in nature, this activity emphasizes hands-on practice, real-life case simulations, and the development of circular economy implementation action plans that can be immediately adopted in your organization.
The ISO 59000 Series helps organizations become not only greener, but also more efficient, innovative, and socially responsible—aligning with Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Participants will connect with a network of circular economy actors from various sectors — including industry, government, academia, and the international community — opening up opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.
